Who we are

Plupiko is an app for iPhone made by Test Owner Ltd. (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Plupiko app and the website plupiko.app.

What stays on your iPhone

Everything you enter in Plupiko is saved on your device:

• The drinks you log, with their amount and time, and any custom drinks you create
• Your daily goal and settings, such as units, when your day starts, reminders, language, theme, bottle and mascot
• Your progress in challenges
• The answers you give in the goal calculator: sex, weight, height, activity level, climate and, only if you choose to say so, pregnancy or breastfeeding

The goal calculator answers are only used to suggest a daily goal. They stay on your iPhone and are never synced or sent anywhere. The Home Screen widget reads the same data directly on your device.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is on for Plupiko, your drinks, your custom drinks and three settings (daily goal, units and when your day starts) are kept in sync between your devices through your private iCloud database. Apple stores this data, and only you can access it. We can’t see or read it.

You can turn off iCloud for Plupiko at any time in the Settings app on your iPhone. Apple’s privacy policy applies to iCloud.

Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional. If you allow it, Plupiko saves the water and caffeine you log to Apple Health. Plupiko never reads anything from Apple Health. You can change this at any time in the Health app. Health data is never used for advertising and never reaches us.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone as local notifications. They are not sent from our servers, and you can turn them off in the app or in your iPhone settings.

Purchases

Plupiko Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and your subscription. We never see your name, card details or Apple ID. The app only checks with Apple whether Pro is active on your account.

What we don’t do

• We don’t show ads
• We don’t use analytics or tracking tools in the app or on the website
• We don’t ask for an account, email or phone number
• We don’t use your location
• We don’t sell, rent or share your data with anyone

Diagnostics from Apple

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. They help us fix bugs and don’t identify you. You can change this in Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.

This website

plupiko.app doesn’t use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts, and the fonts and images load from our own domain. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Emails sent to our plupiko.app addresses are forwarded to our inbox through Cloudflare as well. Cloudflare’s privacy policy applies to this processing.

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you, and we delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and deleting data

You are in control of your data:

• Delete single drinks in the app at any time
• Use Delete All Data in the app’s Settings to erase your history, custom drinks, challenges and settings on this device, in iCloud and in Apple Health. Your Pro purchase stays.
• Deleting the app removes the data stored on your iPhone

Because we don’t collect your personal data, there is nothing on our side to look up, hand over or delete. If you have questions about your rights, write to us and we will help.

Children

Plupiko is made for a general audience. We don’t collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Plupiko handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Important changes will be easy to spot here before they take effect.
